DESCRIPTION:Did you know that there are families in the La Grande area that are struggling to get by this holiday season?  It’s true.  That’s why this Monday the 23rd we will be partnering with K House ministries and South Side of Heaven to pack Thanksgiving meals for local families in need. \nWe will pack meals from 5.30pm-6.15pm\, and then hang out with the families until about 7 or so.  The event is at South Side of Heaven\, 211 Fir Street\, La Grande. \nIf you think you can spare some time\, just RSVP to this email and we will make sure we’ve got you on the list\, and also make sure you’ve got a ride.

DESCRIPTION:Have You Done Enough Good Works to Be Saved? \nMost people assume that doing good deeds is a prerequisite to being accepted by God and entering heaven. But few people know just how many good works they need to do to be saved. \nWe’ll be attempting to answer this question at EOU In Action according to what the Bible teaches\, as we continue our study in the book of Romans.  Last week we looked at the law\, works of the law\, and who can follow the law according to the Bible.  This week we want to look more closely at the relationship between salvation and good works according to several passages from the New Testament. \nWe meet at 7.15pm on Sundays on the 2nd floor of Hoke.
